Privacy Policy
Overview
PomodoroWatch ("the App") is a standalone Pomodoro focus timer for Apple Watch. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your privacy is fully respected.
Data Storage
All data generated by the App is stored locally on your Apple Watch using the system's built-in storage (UserDefaults). This includes:
- Timer settings (work duration, break duration, session count)
- Focus session history (date, duration, completion status)
- User preferences (auto-start, haptic feedback, Health sync toggle)
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
Apple Health Integration
When you enable the "Sync to Health" option, the App writes completed focus sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. This data is:
- Written only with your explicit permission
- Managed entirely by Apple's HealthKit framework
- Stored locally on your devices and in your iCloud (if Health sync is enabled in your Apple ID settings)
- Not accessible to us in any way
You can revoke Health access at any time in Settings → Health → PomodoroWatch.
No Data Collection
The App does not:
- Collect analytics or usage data
- Use third-party SDKs, trackers, or advertising
- Require an account, login, or registration
- Make any network requests
- Access your location, contacts, camera, or any other device sensors
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date.
